Well they don’t say the dog days of summer for no reason!  I’m sure many of you, like me, are indoors while the temperature is soaring into the upper 90′s.  UGH!  I do remember the last time it was this hot for this long.  I was in high school.  Yes, Emily, there was electricity when mommy was in high school.  I digress.  I’m indoors dreaming up new and wonderful things for the fall schedule and then realize I’m indoors… I should be knitting… I cast on a pair of socks, a hat and a sweater (one project is simply not enough) and viola, I’m knitting.

In the middle of my cast on frenzy,  I received an awesome assortment of great knitting books, and patterns.  My favorite book is Cast On Bind Off which just happens to go well with the Cast On Crazy class being held later this month and one next month.  As for patterns, there are so many.  Take a look see.  You can see more on my Facebook page.
